A Land Use Bylaw is a living document, and as such is expected to change and evolve as a municipality develops. It outlines the rules and regulations for development within the Town and guides decision-making processes for development permits and subdivisions. The current iteration of the Land Use Bylaw has been in effect since September 17, 2014. You can apply to amend the land use bylaw in two different ways: textual amendments and land use district changes. Open the relevant drop down menu options below to learn more. If you require more information, please contact Development Services at 403-934-3133 option 2 or email us at development@strathmore.ca.
