Fire Services Radio Conversion

Pathway Lifecycle Program, including RRFB Installations and Stairs at the Strathmore Lakes Stormpond

Annual program to maintain and improve our pathway infrastructure, including installing 4 Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB);

  • Cambridge Glen Drive and Cambrille Crescent
  • Centre Street and WID canal crossing
  • Parklane Drive and Aspen Circle
  • Westchester Road and Trinity Christian Academy

The Town contracted English Lawns (Calgary) Ltd., to install stairs at the water’s edge at the southwest edge of the Strathmore Lakes Stormpond. These stairs were installed to create an easier access for equipment to the ice rink (e.g. ice surface clearing) by Parks/Operations.  It will also allow residents easy access for those wishing to access the rink area for watching or skating.

Water Reservoir Upgrades

As the lifecycle of Brentwood Reservoir comes to an end, upgrades to the Wildflower Reservoir and watermains along Centennial Drive and Maplewood Drive are required in order to decommission Brentwood Reservoir without having an impact on services.
