The Town of Strathmore is using Park Enterprises Ltd for our Building and Utility Permit inspections. We have a building inspector in two days a week. This is a change in service over previous years where we had a building inspector in 5 days week. Please take this change into consideration when you make your application.
Utility Permits
Gas, Plumbing, and Electrical permits are required for new work, renovations, connections, and alterations. Complete the relevant fillable form below and submit it to development@strathmore.ca. The fee for these utility permits is based on the value (labour & materials) of the project, or the number of fixtures so be sure to complete that section of the application.
Water, Sanitary Sewer & Storm Sewer Connection Permit
When constructing a new house, you will need to connect it to the Town's water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer infrastructure. You must contact the Town three days prior to connecting to the aforementioned infrastructure to arrange for the supervision and inspection of the installation. Before backfilling the Quick Trench, photos of the connection must be mailed to serviceconnect@strathmore.ca indicating the civic address in the subject line. Please download and review the permit application below.
