The Strathmore Family Centre is the destination for ice sports in the winter including hockey, ringette, and figure skating. During the summer, the facility is utilized for indoor lacrosse, ball hockey and roller hockey. The Family Centre houses an NHL sized ice surface and an Olympic ice surface.

Ice Bykes combine skating and cycling. The front tire is studded and the rear tires are outfitted with skating blades.
- Four Ice Bykes available for rent.
- Weight capacity of 220 lbs. each.
- Available for drop-in rentals, birthday parties and school bookings.
- Closed toe shoes and a CSA approved helmet are required.
- Drop-in is $8.00 for a 30 minute time slot per Ice Byke.
- Online registration recommended to secure your time slot.

Animal Information:
Any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability, is allowed in our facility. Service dogs are allowed to accompany the handler to any place in the building or facility where members of the public, program participants, customers, or clients are allowed.
Where it is not readily apparent that an animal is a service animal, the Town of Strathmore may request a letter from a regulated health professional confirming that the animal is used by the person for reasons relating to his or her disability.
Pets and all other species of animals or dogs that are not service animals are NOT allowed in our facility.
