The Strathmore Aquatic Centre is a fully accessible facility with Male, Female and Universal changerooms. Other facility amenities include a climbing wall, diving board, steam room and waterslide.

The Aquatic Centre has been providing Strathmore and the surrounding area with water safety education, physical literacy and recreation opportunities for 20 years! Did you know that each year local schools from Strathmore and Wheatland County attend School Swimming Lessons at the Aquatic Centre? School Lessons are offered at a reduced rate, ensuring all children have access to swimming literacy and important water safety lessons.

Animal Information:

Any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability, is allowed in our facility.  Service dogs are allowed to accompany the handler to any place in the building or facility where members of the public, program participants, customers, or clients are allowed.

Where it is not readily apparent that an animal is a service animal, the Town of Strathmore may request a letter from a regulated health professional confirming that the animal is used by the person for reasons relating to his or her disability.

Pets and all other species of animals or dogs that are not service animals are NOT allowed in our facility.
