1. Consent Agenda 

Council adopted the following reports through the consent agenda: 

  • Regular Council Meeting Minutes – July 3, 2024 

  • 2024 Capital Budget Change of Scope – Emergency Exist Stairwell and Cargo Van, Facilities 

  • 2024 Capital Budget Amendment – Family Centre Roof 

  • 2025 Capital Project and Major Initiatives Priority Matrix 

  • Fire Services Mutual Aid Agreement – Wheatland County 

  • Letter from Strathmore High School – Thank You 

  • Letter from Water Finance Research Foundation 

  • Invitation to the Canada Emergency Preparedness and Climate Adaptation Convention 

2. Bylaws 

  • Council passed Taxi Bylaw No. 24-06. 

  • Council gave first reading to Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw No. 24-16. A public hearing for this bylaw is to be held on September 18, 2024.
