Council Meeting Highlights, December 8, 2021

In attendance: Mayor Fule, Deputy Mayor Montgomery, Councillor Langmaid, Councillor Mitzner, Councillor Peterson, Councillor Wegener, Councillor Wiley

Council received reports pertaining to the Strathmore Handibus Association Memorandum of Understanding.

• Christi Shworak, Resident Manager at Wheatland Body Housing spoke in support of the Strathmore Handibus Association.
• Administration presented a report to Council that contained information about the Strathmore Handibus Association that Council had previously requested at the November 10 Council Meeting.
• A motion was made to adjourn the Committee of the Whole Meeting. The motion was passed.
• Council voted to enter a Special Council Meeting so that a motion could be made regarding the Memorandum of Understanding.
• In the Special Council Meeting, Council passed a motion to accept the Memorandum of Understanding with the Strathmore Handibus Association.
