Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre Summer Day Camps aren't just something to do when school's out — they’re life-changing experiences. In between the games and activities, something special happens. Friendships blossom, self-confidence emerges, independence grows, and through it all, our campers build resilience to help them face new challenges as they grow up.

Mission Statement
Town of Strathmore Camps provide a safe environment for fun and meaningful interactions. We supply opportunities to learn while enjoying activities for the mind and body that promote physical and mental wellbeing, while building healthy relationships with peers. Camp participants will be connected, accepted, supported and active.
Cancellations made in writing 7 business days prior to the start of camp will be permitted a refund minus the $20.90 administrative fee. A cancellation request made less than 7 days prior to the start of camp will not receive a refund. Should you require a transfer of camps there will be a $10.20 transfer fee. Prorated refunds will not be given if a participant misses a day for any reason. Exceptions where a full/partial refund may be given regardless of refund policy include: injury/illness that prevent participation in the program and a date stamped doctors note is provided. Other extenuating circumstances may be considered at the Managers discretion.
2023 Registration Opens March 1, 2023 at 8 am
Registration for summer of 2023 will open near the beginning of March. We're excited to be introducing new age groups and a before-camp care from 8:00 - 9:00am. Please note all camps run 9am-5pm.
July -4-7 Water Fun
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 148
Description: Join us for some fun while we head to the pool for two fun swims, the water park and enjoy some water obstacles here at the Sports Centre. Learning other sport skills cooperative games and more while making new friends! During this week campers will get to show off their water obstacle course skills as we bring in water bouncy castles, which includes a Splash Mountain Slide!
July 10-14 Multi-Sport Adventure
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 190
Description: Join us we hit the pool for 3 days of fun swim, some ice skating, ball hockey, ice bikes and more checking out many different sports. You'll build friendships, and learn new skills along the way. On skate days you will need to bring your own CSA approved or an All sport helmet and some warmer clothes. Skates will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own. Plus we will bring in GOAT YOGA on July 11th!
July 10-14 Adaptive and Inclusive Lacrosse Camp
Includes: water bottle, pinnie, stick and may other perks
Description: This will be Canada's first Adaptive and Inclusive Lacrosse Camp, run in collaboration with Lacrossing Barriers and the Town of Strathmore.
Lacrossing Barriers is a World-leader in adaptive sport. They are a group dedicated to providing opportunities for sport, movement, and vocational training to those who have not always been given a choice.
With facilitators who have decades of sport and support-giving experience, LB are able to provide legitimate experiences for all abilities.
This week will provide an authentic Lacrosse Camp experience for all participants. From top-level instruction to an awareness of sport, the program will be geared toward each member's specific needs; allowing them to experience things the way they need to help assure a successful happy time. Each afternoon we will have Lacrosse Stick University -learn how to string your stick and more!! As well we will introduce other sports and activities to ensure your day is well rounded.

July 17-21 Sport and Explore

Description: Join us as we hit the pool for two days of fun swim, a field trip to BEACH YYC On July 19th! Some exploring around town which will include a scavenger hunt and more.
Please fill out this wavier if your child is signed up for this camp to be able to participate in the field trip. Waiver
July 24-28 Splash and Play
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 252
Description: This is a week to get your swim lessons in, and enjoy a week of camp! Each day will include a 50 minute swim lesson, parents must fill out the swim form and email or drop it off to the pool. After swim lessons, we will do some exploring, cooperative games. Fee includes a full week of swim lessons at 50 minutes per lesson. Enjoy a movement class with a special show for parents on Friday 4pm.
July 31-August 4 -Balls and More
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 185
Description: Enjoy 2 days of fun swim, along with exploring the multiple sports that involved balls: including basketball, volleyball, soccer and more. We will also take a field trip to KidzGo! Learn some cooperative games that you can your friends can play when you come on down outside of camp!
August 8-August 11 Neon Days
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 148
Description: Enjoy one days of fun swim, along with exploring the multiple sports but neon style! We also will be heading on a field trip to Monster Golf on August 9th to get our glow on!
August 14-August 18 Splash and Dash
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 252
Description: Lets head to the pool for round two of swim lessons, each day will include a 50 minute swim lesson. Besides fun in the pool, we will do some fun things related to track and field...100 m dash, long jump... who is in? Cost includes full swim lessons.
August 21-25 Olympic Days
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 190
Description: Yes we still get to swim, 3 fun swims this with week, then train like an Olympian. This involves doing a mixture of sports and learning about different Olympic athletes and sports. We will also be heading to the arena for some ice time and ball hockey. Have a virtual tour of the Olympic Hall of Fame! And maybe there will be a special guest or two! Join us we hit the pool for 3 days of fun swim, some ice skating, ball hockey, ice bikes and more checking out many different sports. You'll build friendships, and learn new skills along the way. August 28-31 Let’s Celebrate
Ages: 6/7, 8/9, 10-12
Cost: $ 148
Description: Let's Celebrate a wonderful summer through trips to the water park, adventures around town and a movie! Of course we will have games and scavenger hunts too! No swimming this week.
NEW!!Camp Pre-Care: Do you need to get to work before 9 am, but want your child to join camp? We have pre-care 8-9 am so you can head off and your child can come out and play! Pay by week or day!
Cost: per day $4.75 or by week $16.80

Be sure to fully read and fill in all of the required documents and return them to the Strathmore Motor Products Sport Centre in person at 1150 Edgeview Road, or email them to sportscentre@strathmore.ca before the start date of your registered camp. If more than one child is registered from a family a separate registration package is required for EACH child. If you’re registering your child for more than one week of camp, only one registration package is required for the camper, and will be kept on file for the duration of the summer. New forms are required for all campers returning to camp for 2023!
