As a Municipal Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the RCMP detachment's front counter and records management. You will supervise a team of watch clerks and court clerks who provide administrative and operational support to RCMP members and the public. You will also ensure compliance with RCMP policies and procedures, as well as federal, provincial and municipal legislation.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Supervise all RCMP Detachment Municipal Enforcement employees which includes scheduling, leave requests, training requests, etc., and input into Total Expenditures and Asset Management System (TEAM)
- Completion of employee performance evaluations as required by the Town of Strathmore and in line with Detachment Priorities
- Municipal Enforcement timesheet approvals in timekeeping system
- Daily performance management of Municipal Enforcement Employees
- Train new Detachment Municipal Enforcement hires in their positions
- Liaise with Town (HR, Payroll, etc.) regarding any issue or questions pertaining to Municipal Enforcement Employees
- Supporting the Economic Sustainability and Investment Officer and Finance Manager with ad hoc administrative duties as required
- Management of the Town of Strathmore RCMP front counter float, end of day cash out, float check and weekly drop off
- Assist with supervision of Public Service Employee (PSE) Employees when the PSE Supervisor is away
- Work with the Detachment Commander on financial planning related to Municipal Enforcement requirements
- Serve subpoenas at front counter when required
- Monitor police radio transmissions and respond for requests for information and assistance Assist RCMP Regular Members as required
- Responsible for Crime Mapping accuracy and compliance
- VSU Contact for file updates
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- Current RCMP Clearance considered an asset
- 2+ years administrative experience preferably in a law enforcement capacity
- Experience leading a team including workflow management, scheduling and performance management
- Experience maintaining a law enforcement database such as CPIC and/or PROS considered an asset
- Experience liaising with court representatives or officials or preparing court disclosure packages
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Experience in providing records management services such as indexing, cross-referencing, filing, retrieving, retaining, archiving or destroying of data
