Strathmore has an exciting opportunity seeking an experienced casual Customer Service Representative.

Reporting to the Aquatic Centre Programmer, this position will play an integral role in handling and accounting for money, filing, communicating by telephone, dealing effectively and professionally with the public to assist in the safe operation of the Town of Strathmore Aquatic Centre.

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will work with the Aquatic Centre to study and keep informed in the field of aquatics in order to provide information to patrons. This position is also responsible for general cleaning in the front lobby and other areas as needed in the facility. 

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for using a computerized system, accurately and efficiently.
  • Accurately maintains all cash, debit and credit card payments and to balance at the end of shift.
  • Required to communicate professionally with team members, patrons, contractors and any other persons or organizations.
  • Responsible for the appearance and general cleaning duties of the front lobby and throughout the facility when needed

Successful applicants will demonstrate on their resume:

  • Proven knowledge of MS Office
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
  • Current CPR C / AED Certificate (within 1 year)

  • A self starter with the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent communication skills
