Councillor Langmaid has a passion for public service. Before being elected to Council she worked on the Town Rebranding Initiative that led to the Rural Reimagined brand for the community. Her background is in Land Reclamation and Remediation, so her appreciation for Strathmore’s wide expanse of green spaces is very understandable. Her goal for Strathmore is for the community to continue to thrive, and to remain a desirable place for families to live, work, and play. In her downtime Councillor Langmaid enjoys playing boardgames with her partner, Jon, knitting and crocheting, gardening, and being with her pets.
