Unclaimed Goods Auction

Municipal Enforcement Vehicle

Calling all bidders! Strathmore Municipal Enforcement/RCMP are hosting an unclaimed goods auction at Kinsmen Park during the September 10th Farm and Flea.

When Strathmore RCMP or Municipal Enforcement recover lost or stolen items, every effort is made to reunite the property to their owner. When this cannot be done, however, the items are placed into storage and then dispersed through a charity auction.

In 2019 the Town (Municipal Enforcement) hosted an auction of unclaimed items collected by RCMP/Municipal Enforcement. The event was held at Origin Brewing and raised over $12,000 for charity.

Join Strathmore Municipal Enforcement/RCMP as they empty their seacans and raise money for charity.   Proceeds will be donated to the Strathmore Pregnancy Care Centre and Strathmore Regional Victim Services.

Here are the details:

You can take simple steps to help recover stolen property if you experience a theft. Record serial numbers of your vehicles and equipment. If a break-in occurs report the theft to the Strathmore RCMP and provide serial numbers for any stolen goods. You can read more tips from the RCMP here.
