Offices Open Virtually - Some Services Available In-Person By Appointment

Provincial Guidelines require many of our employees to work from home, but we're still here to help! Strathmore Administration Offices and Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) online offices and phones reopened January 4. Residents can access our staff by email and phone during office hours 8:30am - 4:30pm. Services are also available online. We have officially moved into the new Strathmore Municipal Building but our physical offices remain closed to the public until further notice. Indoor recreation facilities also remain closed until further notice.

Bill Payments

  • Residents can now make an appointment with the Town to make a pet license, business license or utility payment. Appointment time slots are 30 minutes and are available from Monday to Friday, 10-11:30am and 1:30-4pm. To book an appointment with our front counter please call Catherine Merrells at 403-934-3133 extension 423. COVID protocols apply: two people per appointment, wear a face covering, sanitize and sign in on arrival. If you are sick stay home and reschedule your appointment.
  • Mail your cheque payment or post-dated cheque to the Town of Strathmore,  PO Box 2280, 1 Parklane Dr, Strathmore, AB T1P 1K2. Be sure to include your bill stub or account number.
  • A night drop box for cheque payments and post-dated cheques is available at the Town Office, 680 Westchester Road. Be sure to include your bill stub or account number.
  • Most banking institutions have the Town of Strathmore listed for making payments via Internet and telephone banking. Please be sure to use all the digits of your account number without the decimal point. Payments are received and processed by the Town within two to three days.
  • With My Strathmore, you can pay your utility bill online securely and conveniently with Visa or MasterCard. If you do not already have an account, you can request an account through strathmore.ca> My Strathmore. If you require assistance, please call us at 403-361-2101.
  • Credit cards can also be processed over the phone for payments.

Utility Billing Changes

We are transitioning to a monthly billing system where all residents will receive their bills on the same billing cycle.
Starting January 31, 2021 all residents will be billed at end of the month, each month. Customers whose billing cycle is now on the 15th of the month will have a 'catchup bill' from December 16 to December 31, 2020.

Bylaw Ticket Payment Extension

We have extend the due date for Bylaw tickets that were due December 31, 2020 to January 31, 2021. If you have any questions please contact Municipal Enforcement at 403-361-2112 .

Pet License Renewals

Our offices are closed to the public, but we accept payment over the phone at 403-934-3133 extension 423, or use the front door drop box located at our old building, 680 Westchester Rd. Tags will be mailed out to you.
