In attendance: Mayor Fule, Deputy Mayor Wegener, Councillor Langmaid, Councillor Peterson, Councillor Mitzner, Councillor Wiley

At last evening’s Council Meeting Administration presented a winter road maintenance update and Council received an Introduction to the 2024 Capital and Operating Budget.

• Administration presented a winter road maintenance update. This policy is reviewed on a yearly basis. Reports indicate that this was an abnormal season, if staff determine that the past winter season is the new normal the policy can be adjusted to respond accordingly.
• Council reviewed the Financial Reserve Policy. The reserve policy will aid Council is providing stable and predictable tax rates, manage debt limits, and plan for sustainable growth.
• Administration presented the Budget and Taxation Guiding Principals Policy.
• Council received an Introduction to the 2024 Capital and Operating Budget.
• Administration presented the proposed CAO Bylaw and the Municipal Fees and Charges Policy. The Bylaw and Policy will return to Council in September.
