Term Sr. Life Guard (October 23, 2017 - July 27, 2018)

We are looking for an energetic, self-disciplined individual to become part of the Aquatic Centre Team from, October 23, 2017 to July 27, 2018 as a Senior Lifeguard.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for maintaining the overall operations of all pools in order to meet Provincial Health and Safety Standards.
• Performs Lifeguarding duties as required and ensures the overall safety of the general public.
• Instructs the Canadian Red Cross Program.
• Responsible for the facility and completes janitorial duties.
• Required to communicate tactfully and effectively with the public and other staff.
• Delegates and supervises the conduct of staff members.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Current NL Award
• Current Standard First Aid Award
• Current CPR C / AED Award (current within one year)
• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Award
• Any other qualifications are an asset

This position requires the individual to work 40hrs/week:
Sunday 10am to 6pm, Monday-Thursday 2:30pm – 10:30 pm.
