CHANGE IN WATER LEVEL AT KINSMEN LAKE
Starting Wed., Aug. 16th the Kinsmen Lake water level will temporarily drop 1.85 metres to install and conceal the storm drainage pipe being added as part of the Town’s Downtown Enhancement project. The water level change will happen gradually over a few days. Once the desired level is achieved it is estimated to remain at this level for 3 to 4 days. The lake will return to normal levels when that portion of the construction is complete.

The fish in the lake will not be impacted. The floating docks may be unstable and therefore not recommended for use until the lake returns to normal levels. All pathways remain open. For more information about this project and other Canada 150 Projects, visit the Canada 150 Projects page.
